I used shape theory to combine two animals, I chose a bat and a cat since they would be easier to mold together, and I am not completely comfortable using photoshop to draw yet, due to what I’m drawing being on the screen in front of me instead of directly underneath
At first I struggled with sketching the cat and traced the basic shapes over my reference image to understand the anatomy, once I was happy with the sketch I added the wings. If I did this drawing again I would plan a concept for the drawing and figure out how I would like the different features of the animals to collaborate, as it seems a bit unfinished.
